Born-Infeld boson stars

Abstract We study the Einstein-Klein-Gordon system coupled to Born-Infeld electrodynamics. explore solution space of a static spherically symmetric, complex scalar field minimally both gravitational and electromagnetic fields. The resulting asymptotically flat solutions resemble known charged boson stars in Maxwell behaviour such configurations as function parameter b charge q has been analyzed.
